Looking for some fun place to go with little kids in Tampa, FL?! Here are my top 6 places to take them to explore and play!
250,000 sq foot aquarium with amazing exhibits and an outdoor splash pad! So much fun for kids of all ages, and best of all you can enjoy it year round!
Looking for some outdoor fun with the kids? Lowry Park zoo is a great place to explore! Check out the animal exhibits ranging from the Florida Manatees to the elephants in Africa, then hop on some fun rides! You can also upgrade your visit to include up-close animal encounters and feeding experiences.
The Glazer Children’s Museum is a fantastic place to take your inquisitive child! Lots of hands on activities, make believe play(grocery store, vet, doctor, playhouse and more!) and a large indoor obstacle called Water’s Journey! On a nice day, take a stroll right outside the museum along side the river on the newly designed Tampa Riverwalk.
Ready for a full day on non-stop rides and adventure?! Make a trip to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay! An African- centered animal theme park filled with rides for all ages and an award winning Serengeti Safari!
Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI)
A scientific playground with 100s of hands on activities! The museum is optimal for children ages 5-12 years, and focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) activities and lessons. There is a planetarium, Dinovations Lab, space walk, mission moonbase simulator, and more!
Florida summers are HOT- this is a great place to take your children if you are looking to cool off and have some fun! Adventure Island is a 30 acre water water located across the street from Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. It’s a great way to spend the day as a family- water slides, pools, kid-friendly play areas, dining and shopping! A little something for everyone!

Baby posing should be done correctly, to ensure proper blood flow. Make the investment to hire someone trained to create beautiful artwork for your family, but also someone who can keep your baby safe.

Maternity sessions are a great way to celebrate one of the most special times in your life. These are portraits you want to frame and hang on your walls, share with others and pass down to your own children.
If you are unsure whether studio or and outdoor sessions is best for you, here’s are helpful pros and cons to help you choose!
Outdoor Maternity Session
Outdoor sessions are wonderful if you prefer the look of natural light and stunning sun filled portraits. There is a larger variety of scenery/locations to choose from, and if you have a toddler who is joining you for photos, there is more space for them to run around and do their own thing (this could be good or bad for some! 😆)
Cons, weather! Rain, humidity(frizzy hair!!), cold weather..etc are all unfavorable situations you may have to battle. This may cause you to reschedule multiple times, depending on time of year.
Studio Maternity
If you want to be pampered with hair and makeup and not have to worry about weather, have most of the focus of the session on you, studio maternity is for you! Although studio maternity can also accommodate family portraits, we like to make our mamas the center of attention! Our studio offers couture maternity gowns and hair and makeup to make mama look and feel her best!
Which ever you choose to do, outdoor or studio, it will be a memorable experience you will always cherish.

You’ve booked your first birthday photoshoot and now you’re wondering - where do I go from here? Look no further! I provide everything needed for your baby's big day so you can sit back and enjoy them digging in to their perfectly sized baby cake.
What you need for your baby’s cake smash session:
A back up portrait outfit, in case of any accidents!
Going home outfit for after the cake smash
Towel for the bubble bath
A pack of baby wipes for easy clean up
Your child’s favorite snack(s)! In case they need a snack break, or they don’t like the cake! I will usually stick a few treats in the cake if they hesitate to touch it
My studio also has a private restroom & changing table for your use and clean up.

In the first 12 months of your baby’s life, they change incredibly fast! Each milestone session is unique and scheduled at 3-4 months, 6-7 months, 9-12 months.
My studio is stocked with everything you will need to make your milestone session memorable- from props to the cutest outfits!

Looking for a great place to take your family portraits? Tampa FL, St. Pete and Clearwater, offers so much variety that the possibilities are endless! Here’s a list of some of my favorite places for outdoor portrait sessions:
Beach
Honeymoon Island State Park - If you are looking for a classic beach session that boosts cotton-candy skies, white sand & large rocks nestled in the water, this is your spot! This location tends to be very busy during the summer months, especially on weekends, so weekdays are always preferred to avoid the crowds.
2. Davis Island Yacht Club– Located in downtown Tampa, Davis Island Yacht Club is the perfect spot if you are looking to stay within Tampa, but still get beachy portaits. The best part about this location are the sailboat in the background!
3. Philippe Park– Philippe Park is located in Safety Harbor. It has a ton of variety, from oak trees to brick staircases, but it also has a small hidden beach!
5. Edward Medard Conservation Park

Philippe Park– One of my favorite locations! It offers so much variety, from ancient oak trees to winding brick staircases. There is also a small hidden beach!
2. Lettuce Lake Park- This is a great location, especially if you are looking for an open place for you kids to run around! You will mostly get trees for scenery, but there are also a few boardwalks, and some water as well.
3. Edward Medard Conservation Park- This park has a well known area filled with stunning oak trees! It creates the most beautiful background for family, engagement and maternity portraits. There is also a grassy field and some water, if you are looking for some variety in your session.
4. Cunningham Park - Located in Starkey Ranch in Odessa. Beautiful trees, water & small boardwalk. This is a great choice is you are looking to stay close to home and live in the Lutz, Land o Lakes, Odessa area.
City/Urban Areas
University of Tampa/Henry B. Plant Museum - A personal favorite! The museum architecture is so unique! It is a wonderful spot for formal attire with engagement portaits, and also casual wear for family portraits. There is a pathway lined with tons of palm trees, and as you walk closer to the river, you’ll be able to get a few photos with the downtown Tampa FL city buildings as a background.
2. Hyde Park Village– Such a cute area close to downtown Tampa. The streets of Hyde Park Village are lined with boutiques and cafes. It has a beautiful fountain in the center of the village & ivy covered brick walls. This spot is great for lifestyle sessions - Grab a coffee, popsicle or cupcake to make you session extra fun!
3. Ybor City - The ultimate urban portrait spot in Tampa (in my opinion!) Ybor boosts all kinds of Tampa history in its architecture. From the brick walls to iconic buildings, there is so much character here!
4. Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park
6. Armature Works- Located in the historic Tampa Heights neighborhood, Armature Works is a fairly new and very popular spot. The brick architecture and views of the Hillsborough River, make it a great spot for a more modern portrait session. It gets very busy here, so I highly recommend sessions during the weekdays to avoid the crowds
7. Sparkman Wharf- Modern waterfront location near the Amalie Arena and The Florida Aquarium.
